Villa Anna: Inspiration for mum's place...
http://villaanna.blogspot.com/2010/02/inspiration-for-mums-place.html
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Inspiration for mum's place. Beginning with Anna Spiro, her stunning stradbroke island residence. Is one of the main inspirations behind the design of my mum's new home. My mother has some wonderful furniture and accent pieces she's had forever and we still feel they are timeless and fitting for her plantation caribbean/beach shack home :). My mothers timeless pieces include cane/bamboo chairs and etageres. Chinoiserie chests, mirrors and beautiful blue and white porcelain.

Lifescapes: Hit 'Refresh" and head south!
http://lifescapes-luccag.blogspot.com/2011/01/hit-refresh-and-head-south.html
Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Hit 'Refresh" and head south! Vero Beach, Florida. I have really been missing in action this fall and into our winter. My sweet sister has invited me to visit her in Florida and I'm taking her up on it. It's been cold and snowy here in the northeast and I think a little change of scenery will be a tonic for me. I am hoping to get my blogger-groove back when I return warmed-up, a little sun on my shoulders and refreshed. You are all dear and very special. B-well my friend :).

Limestone & Boxwoods: The Urns Of Washington DC
http://www.limestoneandboxwoods.com/2010/11/urns-of-washington-dc.html
The Urns Of Washington DC. November 7, 2010 24 comments. A couple months back this house in Washington DC. Blogs, I knew I'd have plenty to enjoy while there. Another house featuring urn finials on the iron railing. The urn design is similar but different from the urns at the first house. Urns were decorated across the top of this house. I thought it was a unique location for them. Another finial urn on an iron railing. This one is a bit taller and skinnier than the others. The "neck" at the top ...The f...

The World According to Isa. The heart wants what the heart wants. And it whispers it to your soul. When you happen upon beauty that reaches you on such a deep level. It is the same feeling. Of being in love. Do you ever wonder why you respond to certain things this way? What are the beauties that make your knees buckle? Whatever it is for you, I hope that you are surrounded in its beauty all weekend long. I am picking out paint colors. The magic begins anew in our little McMini by the Sea. Hmmm I think y...

The World According to Isa: Bound For the Heart...
http://isaslittleworld.blogspot.com/2011/10/bound-for-heart.html
The World According to Isa. Bound For the Heart. You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me. We are avid readers here in Museville. Nothing quiets the world like a weighty book in hand, a big, soft chair and a hot cup of tea. The hustle and bustle of life fades as the lovely departure commences into distant lands, others hearts, dreams and lives. Their love stories, history and adventure unfold as you lose yourself within the pages. Wait until you see these. Constantinople bet...

a room somewhere: the time has come . . .
http://www.aroomsomewhere.net/2012/01/time-has-come.html
The time has come . . . For a few months now, I've been thinking about unplugging my life, to some extent. I'm sure you can relate to the ever-present online "world," and the more I think about it, the less I want to live there! My heart is here at home with my family, and lately it has become really attractive to pare down and zero in on where my true happiness lies. I want to be a better example to my children, and, overall, I just want to feel more present. Thank you so much for reading. I couldnt agr...

Bride.Paper.Scissors: Valentine's Heart Doily & Pendant Banner
http://bridepaperscissors.blogspot.com/2012/02/valentines-heart-doily-pendant-banner.html
Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Valentine's Heart Doily and Pendant Banner. My wonderful husband gave me a dozen roses this morning (so sweet of him! And I decided to use them as part of the decor on our fireplace mantle to go along with the banner I made. I placed each rose in random old bottles I had collected last year (for our wedding). The LOVE sign was from our wedding too. Ps. Sorry for the TV in the pic, I couldn't really take the picture without getting it in it. Oh well! Labels: God is love.
