Two years into their relationship, Alex and Lincoln are steered into an adventure that brings drama and angst. The events might just be so unbearable to handle that it could kill them. She got the unbearable part right. When Alex awoke he was glad he wasn’t staring into the barrel of a gun. As was I this morning.
