Karen Bee Knitting: August 2009
http://beehiveknitting.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
This is my knitting blog. I record here the things I've created that are knitterly. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. I had a dental appointment today, in which I expected a filling and ended up with a root canal. If you have kids with overlapping teeth, do them a favor and give them braces! So, now I wonder. Several things. Am I devaluing my time? Is my time really worth even minimum wage? These are questions I've asked myself numerous times. I don't really know the answers. I personally would probably ...I've ...

This is my knitting blog. I record here the things I've created that are knitterly. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. I've been making baby sweaters lately, as several of my friends and relatives are having baby girls. I've used a couple of different patterns, which I found on the internet, for top-down sweaters. They knit up pretty quickly, and I love that there's no seaming! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Karen's Free Knitting Patterns. Pink Ruffled Purse Pattern.
Karen Bee Knitting: December 2009

This is my knitting blog. I record here the things I've created that are knitterly. Saturday, December 19, 2009. Here is my latest monster hat. Meet Snakely Brainsucker. He has one of those articulated jaws that enables it to stretch around his prey: a child's head. However, no matter how hard he tries, he never quite manages to swallow it. Ben, age 7, loved trying on this hat, and couldn't help getting a bit melodramatic! Keep trying, Snakely. Maybe you can swallow your meal, in time.

Last week my computer died.no warning, no goodbyes, just died. =( The bright side of it dying is that I managed to get a lot of other things done. The downside was how disconnected I felt! Now I have to ask.what did I do before the internet? It wasn't that long ago, you'd think I'd remember! How could it die? But you know what?

Really must have a clear out . soon! A Creative Spirit (What do you do with yours? She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands." Proverbs 31:13. Monday, June 13, 2005. So many projects, so little time! Between the knit swaps, crochet swaps, crochet-alongs, and the things I REALLY want to make I have discovered that there just aren't enough hours in the day to finish it all! I'm getting exhausted just thinking of it all! Much closer to being done on them. When I get that afghan done we're going to have a. View my complete profile.
Knit'n'stitch Sue: Little slippers & Flora Rabbit
http://knitnstitchsue.blogspot.com/2011/08/little-slippers.html
Saturday, 13 August 2011. Little slippers and Flora Rabbit. Just finished these little slippers for DGD Ellie. I've re-sized them from the Toasty Slippers in Val Pierce's book 'love. Knitting 25 simple projects to knit'. The soles are knitted with acrylic chunky yarn from my stash and the tops are the softest, fluffiest yarn I've ever worked with. I picked it up a couple of years ago from Oswaldtwistle Mills. And it's been sitting in a box ever since, waiting for a project. Ellie loves her little bunny!

This is my knitting blog. I record here the things I've created that are knitterly. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Cute and Slouchy Hat. I am happy to announce that I've created a new hat pattern. This is one that I invented because I wanted to make a hat that I would actually want to wear. What I like about it is it is not tight fitting, so it doesn't mess up my hair too badly, and it covers my ears, keeping me nice and warm! Here are some of the specs for this hat pattern:.
