Saturday, September 6, 2014. Halftime Exhibition - EHS vs. Christ Church. The Greenville Grizzlies were invited to play the Carolina Ravens at halftime of the Eastside High vs. Christ Church game. When Brody was creamed by a bunch of purple jerseys, I realized this football mom thing is not for the faint of heart. But he got up and his only complaint was that someone's cleat stepped on his arm. I'm so proud of my tough little man. Here he is with his 8U team, he's number 22, back left:. Time in a bottle.

Saturday, August 23, 2014. Brody's First Scrimmage - Eastside Jamboree. Brody had his first stab at "real" football this morning. He did great running his routes and blocking. He even had one little dude face mask him. He practiced playing safety and left guard, but played a little linebacker for the first time today, too. The Incident: "Oh, no you don't! It has changed owners and venues, so it was like a maiden voyage for us both. The menu offered a variety of American food with miscellaneous Mediterranean options.
