You are here: Home. September 21, 2010 by justin. Middot; 1 Comment. My fingers smelled so good after picking them. I wish there was something that tasted like this to drink. Ooops, there is! I love hops. Watch them blow in the breeze. These are the cascade hops. They were planted last year so this is the second harvest and it was an amazing year! They are drying now and I need to find a vacuum sealer to save them for my beer this fall. Filed under All Beers. Middot; Tagged with homebrew. M-Dog IPA, day 2.

You are here: Home. August 4, 2010 by justin. Middot; 1 Comment. So the beer friend brought back 2 homebrews from her daughter and son-in-law (Sam Adels and Claire Briguglio). Tonight I popped open the California Steam. First, what is a California Steam anyway? Has a great history of Steam Beer,. A historic beer may or may not have used adjuncts, was hopped between 28 and 40 IBUs, and was run through a clarifier after a very short fermentation directly into the keg. Krausen was used to carbonate the ...

You are here: Home. July 13, 2012 by justin. Middot; Leave a Comment. What a great lager…and I hate lagers. I could drink this Lucky Bucket Brewery. Lager all night long, and last night, I did! Thanks to Craft Beer Club. For delivering this amazing brew to my door, next time, 4 bottles would be better than 3. The bottle says “pre-prohibition style” and if they mean, “a lager with flavour” then YAY! There is a depth to this lager, there are hops and a sweet barley base. Be Sociable, Share!
