HomeBrew How To’s in the Philippines. Just another WordPress.com weblog. April 9, 2007. Challenge 2 Complete: Malted Barley at Home. Posted by beerme under barley. Yesterday I brewed a small batch of beer with the malt that I had made in March. (. I am pleased with the sweetness of the wort and the light color that the un-roasted malt makes. I, like most homebrewers have my little rituals and idiosyncracies before brew day. Here’s what I do and why. Freezing bottles of water for ice tomorrow. The sooner the better for we have a little freezer that takes a while to make 4 litres of ice. One good idea is to coordinate a freezer defrosting for brew day. Then you’ll have some extra ice for your wort chilling. Sometime in the ...

HomeBrew How To’s in the Philippines. Just another WordPress.com weblog. March 21, 2007. 8211; Big Blue Will Do. Posted by beerme under equipment. Today I want to look at a critial piece of your homebrewery–the fermentation vessel. When I came to the Philippines, I naturally started looking around for things to brew with. What did I see? 8211; cheap (about P100 new). 8211; less places for bacteria to hide. 8211; standard bung fits neck. 8211; can accept a blow off hose. 8211; big opening to allow cleaning.

Beer Me A Beer
Beer Me A Documentary. Posted on April 20, 2009 in beerventure. Cheers to Anat Baron for her hard work and for bringing an inside look into many aspects of the beer industry to a mass audience. I am happy I saw Beer Wars and generally liked it. Generally. A gimmicky beer with caffeine.
