Brews Clues: Simmzy's
http://microbrewster.blogspot.com/2011/05/simmzys.html
A site for people who love beer. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Delicious and vast for that. Instead, I just say work off what you drink. So this weekend Megan and I cycled a roundtrip 25 miles from Santa Monica to Manhattan Beach and back in order to sample one of my new favorite beer bars in the Southland: Simmzy's. Simmzy's is located at 229 Manhattan Beach Blvd. in Manhattan Beach. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My beer rating system. The goddam plane has crashed into the mountain. Brews Clues: Beer in China, Part 3, Homebrew
http://microbrewster.blogspot.com/2011/07/beer-in-china-part-3-homebrew.html
A site for people who love beer. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Beer in China, Part 3, Homebrew. So left with only one choice, I ordered the dark beer. It is, much as I expected, some basic variant on an export version of the Munich Dunkel. What I dont expect is the fact that it actually tastes homebrewed, true to the name! The lighter beer, while Im unable to try it or get any description of it, Im guessing is a blonde ale or more than likely since they have lagering capabilities, a Czech style pilsner. Qu...

A site for people who love beer. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Beer Brats, Craft Style. In my case, I was making around 12 brats, so this recipe is large, but you could easily cut down the proportions. Credit to Dethroner. For much of the ingredients of this recipe, although I made my own variations based on some reading. You can get the pre-cooked ones, but you're going to have a hard time imparting the beer flavor to them. Get the raw ones. 1 - 2 Yellow Onions, cut into rings and halved. 1 Tbs Olive Oil.

Brews Clues: O'Doul's Amber
http://microbrewster.blogspot.com/2010/04/today-in-honor-of-blossoming-springtime.html
A site for people who love beer. Thursday, April 1, 2010. Today in honor of blossoming Springtime, I decided to review a new beer simply named, O'Doul's Amber. It doesn't look like an amber coming out of the can with a medium amount of head and not much lacing, I would have guessed this is a Pilsner. Upon the first sip I taste wonderful organic ingredients like corn syrup, sodium isoascorbate, and potassium metabisulfite! O'Doul's Amber: * * *. Sounds like it would pair well with lunchables. 160;I always...

Brews Clues: January 2011
http://microbrewster.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
A site for people who love beer. Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Nogne O Imperial Dunkel Wit. This strange creation from Nogne O (a name I still can't pronounce) is meant to be a pleaser for everyone: people who like Belgians, people who like dark ales, and folks who like big beers. There's very little head and even less retention on this beer, which strangely has the color of root beer. Aromas bring to mind plums and raisins, but only slightly as there isn't much aromas coming off this. I'm glad to hear you ...

Situated in the blue mountains, between Yellowstone and the Tetons in the East and the Blue Mountains in the West, Idaho has all the peaks, rivers, and valleys that really can't be called complete unless there's brewery not too far around the corner. Can you imagine walking into a bar and asking, "yes, I'm wondering what good American-style India Black Ales you have on tap? Trout Hop Black IPA: * *. Back in Los Angel...
