Beer On The Menu. Tried and tested ideas for serving beer with food. Friday, 15 July 2011. Beef Provençal, potatoes and broccoli. A nutty flavour with hints of vanilla and caramel. The slight herby bitterness of the beer complements the sage in the rich sauce. The marinated beef goes well with the vanilla and caramel flavours of the chocolate malt. Saturday, 9 July 2011.
