Equipping Women to Serve Women Worldwide. Women’s Ministry facilitators regularly travel to Burma, East Asia, Nepal, and North India to facilitate BEE Women’s Ministries’ courses. Due to the enormous response to this quality, reproducible biblical training in all of these countries, BEE Women’s Ministries continues to train qualified Christian women in the West to become committed facilitators who will expand the training in these target countries. BEE’s work in Nepal began with a meeting in Pokhara in 1998, with just fourteen pastors from different areas of the country,. In 2009 BEE World officially completed our original goal of training four hundred male Christian leaders in Nepal in our entire BEE curriculum. About that same time, BEE Women’s Ministry began facilitating biblical courses to groups of enthusiastic women in ministry in Kathmandu and Pokhara, who also had had no biblical training. The explosive church expansion has resulted in a leadership crisis of epic proportions. Conservatively speaking, if 120,000 people come to Christ each day, and a pastor is needed for each hundred, 1,200 new, trained pastors would be required daily. This is equal to 438,000 trained pastors needed each year just to match church growth. Some pastors must shepherd from five to twenty congregations. Though BEE World’s main focus is to train in restricted-access countries, in 2005 the Lord led several facilitators to launch BEE Philippines in partnership with the Filipino church. Key Filipino pastors facilitate BEE courses in English and Tagalog. God has richly blessed their efforts, and there are now four hundred leader-students in first- and second-generation BEE small groups in all three main areas of the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
