5th Grade Course Information. Middle School Jazz Band. Any middle school student is eligible to join jazz band. We meet every Thursday from 2:45 to 4:15pm. The traditional jazz band has trumpets, trombones, and alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones plus a rhythm section (piano, bass, drums, and guitar). At NEST m, any instrument is permitted; flutes and clarinets are always a part of our group. In the past, we've even had multiple oboe players! If you are interested, please speak to Pieter.

5th Grade Course Information. The honor band is the middle school's most challenging and competitive group. The honor band is comprised of, mostly, eighth grade students. However, any middle school student is welcome to participate in the honor band. Beginning Ballet | I will probably fall over a lot.
I will probably fall over a lot. Some things of interest. May 7, 2015. I can land a pirouette to the right! And sometimes to the left. Sometimes. Dancing with someone actually playing the piano right next to you feels special and fancy. I am MUCH further down in my left, right, and middle splits than when last attempted them so that was a pleasant surprise. I’m taking a contemporary intro class on Sunday morning that is SO FUN. I think I have a bit of that elusive musicality that you hear stories about.
