http://www.goeslightly.com/2015/07/im-back-with-diy-bookmark.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. With a DIY bookmark). Hi guys :) So, I had a bit of an unplanned and unannounced absence from the blogging world. I began blogging about my crafts and recipes as a way to motivate myself to keep doing something I enjoyed. But lately, I found myself coming up with things just so I could blog about them - it was backwards! So, I'm going to be cutting back on my posts, only blogging when I have a good project to share. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). With a DIY bookmark).

Thursday, April 30, 2015. Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream Sandwiches. Well, this might just be my new favorite thing. I combined two great recipes into one tasty ice cream sandwich. I made some delicious peanut butter cookies with the recipe from Better Homes and Gardens. And combined it with the one ingredient (literally, it's just bananas) banana ice cream from One Ingredient Chef. To make a peanut butter banana ice cream sandwich. One of those rare Pinterest finds that turn out exactly as promised :).

http://www.oldtownflowerscu.com/blog/22/11/2016
November 22, 2016. The holidays are here and I encourage you to take the time to create! Each year I take the time to create a handmade gift for my family. It could be a new tradition. Like the pocket advent calendar I made for my daughter, or a new recipe. Like the peppermint bark I now make every year. Do you need inspiration? I'm also hosting a wreath workshop. Humans are naturally creative! It's what we do. Hopefully some of the links below might give you some inspiration! Cheers and happy creating,.

Saturday, May 30, 2015. Saturday Snapshot:New Orleans Food. Because, let's be honest, food is a way of life in NOLA. Respect must be paid. From beignets to pralines, I don't think I've ever eaten so many sweets. and that's saying something! Thursday, May 28, 2015. I am loving the tassel trend! So, I went on the hunt for some sandals with an ankle strap, and I lucked into a pair of $10 Ralph Lauren shoes from TJ Maxx. I found a string of tassels at Michael's, and sewed them on! It was so easy! 1 small hea...

Holly Goes Lightly: Bacon, Chickpea, Avocado Salad
http://www.goeslightly.com/2015/06/bacon-chickpea-avocado-salad.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Bacon, Chickpea, Avocado Salad. In the summer, I crave ice cream. When I'm not craving ice cream, I love a good glass of sauvignon blanc. But if ice cream and white wine aren't available, there's not much better than fresh food that is easy to throw together. This quick salad is a great side dish, but also works well for meal for two. 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed. 2 small, vine ripened tomatoes, chopped. 1 avocado, chopped. 4 sliced of bacon, crisped and chopped. I started ...

Holly Goes Lightly: DIY Summer Citrus Pom Pom Tote
http://www.goeslightly.com/2015/06/diy-summer-citrus-pom-pom-tote.html
Thursday, June 25, 2015. DIY Summer Citrus Pom Pom Tote. I'm a sucker for a tote bag, especially in the summer. During the school year, I tend to stick with a smaller purse, using a canvas tote for my lunch and stacks of grading. During the summer, though, I love to just have a big ol' tote bag to throw any and everything into. Adding a row of pom poms and some felt fruit helps this tote feel especially beachy. Felt: one yellow and one orange sheet. Embroidery floss in contrasting colors.

Holly Goes Lightly: Grilled Caprese Pizza
http://www.goeslightly.com/2013/07/grilled-caprese-pizza.html
Friday, July 12, 2013. This is SO delicious. I'm hungry just thinking about it! When I was in law school, friends of mine made a bunch of pizzas one night for a group of us hungry students. I remembered it was super tasty, and that our hosts made the crust on the spot- no yeast involved! So, I had to ask for the crust recipe and see if I could put it on the grill (spoiler alert: I could! For one pizza, you will need:. 2 teaspoons baking powder. 1/4 cup olive oil. Italian seasoning to taste. I dont always...
