1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. A ritually updated blog charting the development of film. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Directed by George Roy Hill. One of the best duos in cinematic history return to deliver another amazing film (Myrna Loy and William Powell might beat them for the top slot). Now, I won't pretend I completely understood the plot of this movie, but I was happily placated by Robert Redford's and Paul Newman's charisma. RATING: * * -. Labels: George Roy Hill. Sunday, June 28, 2015.

Pictured above is the device that was needed to make me sit through this film. I promise there will come a time when I like a Stanley Kubrick film, but this isn't it. In fact, this is one of my least favorite movies of all time. Please be gentle in the comment section. I have a family! 524 WR.: Misterije organizma. I would like to ...

1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. A ritually updated blog charting the development of film. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Directed by Sidney Lumet. Does anyone else think Al Pacino is a huge asshole? I find him rather exhausting to watch. He's in so many good movies that his overindulgent performances are often forgivable. This is not one of those times. RATING: * - -. The real Frank Serpico spent a great deal of time with Al Pacino to help him with his role. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Edwin...

1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. A ritually updated blog charting the development of film. I found this film very enjoyable. It is one of the few instances where D.W. Griffith is not in your face about race issues and it was refreshing. The plot is pretty sexy for the time and the entire film holds your interest, despite its two and a half hour length. 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. A ritually updated blog charting the development of film. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Directed by William Friedkin. I am not even going to summarize the opening sequence, because who the hell knows what was going on there? I am sure very few people still find this frightening since the special effects have become a bit dated (although my mom refuses to watch this because of her Catholic upbringing). Still, it's an exciting movie that still provides some chills.

1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. A ritually updated blog charting the development of film. Everytime I watch a D.W. Griffith, I walk away feeling vaguely impressed and really disturbed. The same holds true for this film which centers around a girl who has an abusive father. She falls in love with The Yellow Man (seriously Griffith?
