Monday, November 24, 2008. Craziness I tell you! I was a few seconds too late with this photo but - see how the top of the tree is gone, yeah they pulled it down ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY! Seriously, the workmen just stopped traffic about 10 yards from the tree, yanked on some ropes and about 25 feet of tree came crashing down! BTW - this happened on Bogota's ONLY major highway. Wednesday, November 5, 2008. The good, the bad and the ugly. Okay so it's not quite that dramatic. But seriously, this bill paying in the bank crap is irritating me! NO THANK YOU. I check my bill, it's late tomorrow but the fee is $7000 pesos or about $3, see ya! I really can't do this every month. really. Oh, the good, I forgot the good! Well there are lot's of goods here, especially Maria my full-time and nanny. Seriously, she makes my life so easy. What will I do when I no longer have her?

Think about it. 1 year of language and attache training for BOTH of us, storing our stuff for 2 years, shipping our stuff including 1 vehicle, plane tickets, hotels etc, etc, etc. Big money for DIA. Next we rode the train below for 3 hours to Aguas Calientes. Then hopped on the bus below for 20 minutes. We took a road that was VERY narrow, and VERY curvy.
