Wednesday (23rd): I slept in for a bit and then got up and did stuff around the room. Yvette, Jenifer, and I went out to take more pictures. We took the metro to Passeig de Gracia and walked around. Since I had already taken pictures there I didn’t take too many, but I did get some more weird looks. She seemed confused.haha. Bunnies on La Rambla. And apparently they have dinosaur eggs.

The Travels of an American Student in Italy. June 23, 2010. Week Two Part Two. Ok, I’m back. That Friday, class was cancelled because of a strike. There weren’t supposed to be any buses or trams running, so there wouldn’t be any way for all the students to get to the school. Shelby and I decided we would explore the neighborhood around our house, but when we were walking around we saw a bus go by! One of the rooms in the crypt, everything's made of bone. The Travels of an American Student in Italy. June 30, 2010. The Sistine Chapel, 4 1/2 inch Heels, and the other St. Peter’s. St Peter's Chapel, all perfectly proportioned and mathematically perfect. The church, with its wedding decorations. That I really liked. It was in chiaruscurro style that seemed very unusualy for him but I thought it lent the work so much more drama and intensity. I went with Shelby, Professor Antonella and Antonella’s husband to see about getting Shelby’s phone fixed. The phone store people have been so unhelpful this entire time that we were expecting to have to fight them for anything. But then it turned out Shelby’s battery was just bad, so they gave her a new one. These are my genius friends who are imitating some of the river gods.

Mi viaje a barcelona. Mis últimos días en Barcelona. June 29, 2010. Bike lanes along the boardwalk at the beach. Car wash underneath a residency. In Raval (neighborhood near RESA). Marcel seemed to like the composition of the photos, but I think he thought I could have portrayed the multipurposeness better. After everyone presented their photos, Jordan showed us a video that he had been filming throughout the trip. It was really cute! After dinner we all just hung out at RESA and had a pretty chill night.
