Being Still in the Storm. Saturday, January 10, 2015. Long time no blog. In October, I had the chance to go to Peru with a friend to see Cuscu, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Piccu. It was definitely worth the time especially since I teach about the Incas in one of my Humanities classes. We spent the holidays in Tampa, and then got to see the old year out and the new year in with David, Jenn, and Lylah up in Tennessee. So blessed to get to spend a week with them! Wishing all a Happy New Year!

Being Still in the Storm. Monday, March 17, 2014. Life has been very busy this spring term because I've been teaching 11 classes (2 on-campus and 9 online). Two courses will end this weekend, and I'll get a little break until one starts up again the 2nd week of April. I am thankful that I am able to work this much, and it is helping to finance some more trips which are coming fast and furious during March. Here are some pics from the ground of the Altun Ha ruins. How could it not be an amazing vacation?
