Baking and cake decorating tutorials for beginners. November 26, 2014. This cake was an order from an old school friend. It was made for her friend’s 27th birthday. As you can probably tell he is an avid cricket lover and hence the design of the cake was cricket themed. I came up with the design of the cake by taking aspects of two different cricket themed cakes that I liked. The cake was to serve roughly 20 people so I used an 8 inch square cake tin. The cake was a caramel mud cake with caramel icing.
