It Has To Be Said: September 2011
http://genaroberts.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
It Has To Be Said. My husband says I talk too much. So, I'm going to come here and try to use up some of those words in order that he might hold on to what little sanity he has left. I just have some opinions that need to be expressed and some things that I believe should be said! Sunday, September 25, 2011. He loves Jesus. - At the time we got married, we were both believers but wandering in the desert. This did not seem all too important at the time, but has become to mean everything since! I remember ...

becoming a bride: God sold our house.
http://courtsimpson.blogspot.com/2013/07/god-sold-our-house.html
I will allure her, and bring her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. God sold our house. I’m actually writing this on June 25. But today, July 12. We closed on our house. I have a feeling when the actual house closing date comes, I won’t have a lot of time to write this incredible story and it’s worth sharing. And if I have ever had a story to tell about God’s faithfulness, it’s this one:. So what did I do with this ever-so-clear message? Text Jeremy and let him know? I didn’t do a thing. I wan...

I will allure her, and bring her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. This is an emergency. Do we even know the full reality of the unreached and unknown people groups out there? How many more Cape Breton Islands are there in the world? The reality of this is breaking my heart for the lost of this world. And who are we? That we have hundreds of churches in one town when billions of people around the world have never heard of Christ. Do we understand this? Why does this not bother all of us more?

I will allure her, and bring her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. A woman after the heart of God. She is of a wonderful sweetness, calmness and universal benevolence of mind; especially after those seasons in which this great God has manifested himself to her mind. She will sometimes go about from place to place, singing sweetly; and seems to be always full of joy and pleasure; and no one knows for what. Jonathan Edwards speaking about his wife. I will allure her, and bring her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. I can tell that we are going to be friends. I have the greatest friends in the world. And that is no exaggeration. I have those friends that would drop whatever they were doing to come and help me and vice-a-versa. They are the type that are always encouraging me toward Christ and supporting me through life. "As iron sharpens iron.". I know what Paul meant now with: I thank my God each time I remember you. Since our wedding day.

I will allure her, and bring her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. A new season: spring is near. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39. Myself. Is that self broken? Absolutely. Does God love my broken self? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

I will allure her, and bring her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. I think it’s time for Jeremy and I to give a life update to our friends and family (and all you other facebook acquaintances who are simply curious). In case you didn’t know, Jeremy and I bought a house in 2008. When we bought this house, we honestly thought we would stay in it for three years, sell it, make money, and move to seminary. That was “the plan.”. In 2011, I started working for a great non-profit called WMU. As many...

becoming a bride: 23...a year of growth and change
http://courtsimpson.blogspot.com/2011/11/23a-year-of-growth-and-change.html
I will allure her, and bring her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. 23a year of growth and change. I love to write. You may not be able to see this due to my lack of motivation to update my blog; but ask anyone who knows me best and they will tell you that I am a writer. A review of the past year:. Yet God's timing is not our's; and He has us in Birmingham for a reason beyond our understanding. We cannot sell our house. Relying on Him to direct our path and show us where to go and what to do.
