Tuesday, April 17, 2012. It Aint Your Normal Fire Drill. This is the Fire dept responding because they are reporting casualties. Moments later you see paramedics and Fire taking in stretcher after stretcher. Then the drill made my stomach sink a bit and almost got teary eyed when you see the first shooting victim being helped to the awaiting ambulances. Saturday, October 22, 2011. The colors are so beautiful this year. Last year it cold so quickly that most of the trees just turned brown. This year the weather is making up for it. Everywhere we go I think in my head, oh gotta remember that one, I need to take a photo of that one, and such. These are some of my favorite trees so far. These are the trees at O's school. I love looking at these every morning and afternoon when I pick him and drop him off. THE CANDY CORN SMILE- oh ya, totally worth it :0).

Thursday, November 8, 2012. This year for Halloween, our family decided to be The Avengers. O was Captin America, Ay was Hawkeye, Em was Iron Man and I was Black Widow. I have not seen the movie but the boys made sure I looked the part. Greg was supposed to be Hulk but he had to work late. Em wanted to do another Halloween Party, so this year they all got to invite friends. We decked out the theatre and made it spooky. O made a great astronaut and one of Ay's friends showed up in the same costume!

Friday, September 7, 2012. Labor Day Get-Away 2012. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Em. 13. I can not believe that I now have a teenager. Really? I found a great cabin in the middle of the mountains near Florissant CO. It sleeps 13 and was a perfect size.
