Greywaren Art: Remembering
http://greywarenart.blogspot.com/2008/09/remembering.html
Thursday, September 11, 2008. It's 9/11, so I'm going to be doing radio-silence today aside from this post. Even though it's been 7 years, I can still remember the moment I heard about the plane hitting the Pentagon. Not the NYC ones. I must have heard about the NYC planes sometime when I was driving to my morning class, but I don't remember it. I'd just started dating him a month before but I was insanely in love and all I could think was that I'd just met him - I wasn't ready to say goodbye yet. My Fri...

Greywaren Art: Moose, Revisited
http://greywarenart.blogspot.com/2008/09/moose-revisited.html
Tuesday, September 09, 2008. 8 x 16" colored pencil on gessoboard. As I haven't had a Moose-the-Cat piece available in a long time, I wanted to let you guys know that one of my old Moose pieces; the owner is selling it on eBay. It's one of criminally insane Moose hanging off the back of my computer desk while I worked. If you're interested, it's here. Posted by Maggie Stiefvater. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). WINDOW DRESSING: April 2012
http://thewindowdresser.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Seeing life through art. Sunday, April 1, 2012. TEA TOWEL APRON PROGRESS. Below is a picture of the underside of the apron with all the pieces stitched together. I also added a button on the inside of the apron and a slot on the neck strap so my mother could wear the apron as well because she has a shorter torso than I do. I still have the underlining to do and finish up the adjusting strap on the other side with some. Twill tape. Almost over. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). TEA TOWEL APRON PROGRESS.

WINDOW DRESSING: February 2012
http://thewindowdresser.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Seeing life through art. Thursday, February 16, 2012. HOW MANY IS TOO MANY? How many sewing machines are too many? Two, three, five? Well, I broke three machine needles in one week. The first two flew by the side of my head, really fast.WHOOSH! Fast forward to the 90's and my uncle was closing down his garment factory and tried to sell off most of the equipment. He asked me if I wanted one of the industrials and I leapt with joy! I had to pinch myself, for real. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

WINDOW DRESSING: June 2011
http://thewindowdresser.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Seeing life through art. Saturday, June 25, 2011. BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER. Saturday, June 11, 2011. Tatting is still my main focus for the moment. I have not wandered off to "create" other things. So far I have finished 1/10th of my project. Not even near the middle. I have done the top half of my edging. After this I have three more insertions to make and I will attach all of them together and crochet or sew them to the edge of my scarf. The only negative thing is that the tendonitis on my ...

WINDOW DRESSING: May 2009

Seeing life through art. Sunday, May 31, 2009. Then I proceeded to add the "expensive" silver clasp. Another design I attempted was this green necklace. I didn't have the right color thread so I experimented with black thread instead. Surprisingly enough I like the contrast of the black thread with the bright green beads. Check it out.
