Monday, January 26, 2009. I have a couple of kids who have an annoying hobby of fighting nonstop. I usually get caught up in the madness by telling them to stop in a loud voice so they can hear me over their screams. Pretty soon the decibel level is through the roof and I am left panting on the floor when it is all done, having accomplished nothing and wondering why I even try. Tonight, however, was a bit different. Here's how it went down. Me: Time to brush your teeth. Me: don't forget to floss.

Monday, September 29, 2008. Shark girl and the tooth fry. I tell her. The tooth fairy will be so happy to see that great little tooth. And the world will not be afraid of you anymore, shark girl. Saturday, November 24, 2007. One of these shoes belongs to my 13 year old, the other to his dad. I went to buy Anthony shoes tonight for the zoot suit he will wear in his jazz band. Last time we bought shoes, Tony was size 10. (Blake is 91/2). I know he's growing fast. He's 5' 5" and he's left me in the dust but I was not prepared for him to be 3 sizes bigger!
