Sunday, February 14, 2010. Fruit trees and flowers planting. Carlos and Jose came by to plant our trees and flowers. We have boganvillas (sp? And hibuscus plants, mango, avocado, banana and almost trees. Oh yes, and an orchid on our tree. Sorry, Deb, no lychee tree to be found. And Mom, no scotch bonnet pepper plant yet. Lime tree to come. Thursday, January 14, 2010. Mom named her little blue house, Paloma Pacifica, which means Peaceful Dove. So like her eh? And she calls it her castle so please be mindful lol. John did a great job choosing our tiles and cabinets. We love it! I have to say, everything went smoothly.and we're VERY happy that all this could have been done without us being there. Much thanks to John and the boys! Monday, January 11, 2010. The time has finally come for us to return. We hope to see everyone again!

Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Well, this is likely the final entry in this blog for a while. The plan is to build early in the new year so Jacques and I will be back then. However, this is also contingent on the Canadian weather and my impatience. We had a very eventful vacation, met so many people, learned so much, and had some really fun times! Thursday, April 30, 2009. The land is ours. I forgot to report that the piece of land is now officially ours. Well, we paid, so we should have the title in our hands soon! The decision as to timing of the build will happen when I get to Corozal. I'm trying to curb my impulsive nature so I've been sitting on this decision for a while.
