The Faded Cottage: June 2009
http://thefadedcottage.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 29, 2009. The last time when me and my mom were in California, we spent the night in Newport Beach as we were going to the Irvine Flea Market the next day(Sunday). Of course we had to do some shopping, so we headed on over to the Corono. Del Mar Plaza. As we drove around trying to find a parking space we noticed this sign. I decided on the Red Velvet and a Black and White cupcake, $3.25 a piece. The plan was that we would have these for dessert, sometime later that evening. A decision was ma...

Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Soap With Tea Leaves. Seems like a lot of us tea enthusiasts are on the lookout for new products using tea. My latest find is Fresh Lime Massage Bath Soap. The packaging is pretty and the soap has a lovely fresh citrus scent. You can see the bits of tea leaves all through this extra large (10 1/2 ounce) bath bar. This soap is made by CST Fall River in the USA. I found mine at Marshalls, but you can also find this brand on Amazon. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Teapot Use and Care.

Thursday, June 11, 2009. Teapot Use and Care. These suggestions for teapot use and care are from Mrs. Isabella Beeton’s Book of Household Management, published in 1860. 160; have several teapots for different occasions. 160; avoid using aluminum or enamel; aluminum may discolor the tea; chipped enamel may effect the flavor of the tea. 160; ceramic or bone china teapots retain the heat best. 160; check the glaze inside the pot for cracks and crazes. The Sprouffskes • Life on the Farm: food for thought
http://blog.thesprouffskes.com/2006/09/food-for-thought.html
Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Written by michael g on september 22. worth the read. Michael, thank you for opening your heart and sharing this journey with everyone who loves you and your family. It is kind of difficult at times to see mom like this, when just ten days ago she was radiant at her birthday party. She has been saying things like…“Take care of your father” and “I love you very much”… like she is saying goodbye. Today, mom could barely manage the four teaspoons of soup I fed her…. Kids spend t...

Tuesday, December 10, 2013. An oldie but a goodie. December Daily 2011. In November, I reminded myself just how much I love seeing how much the boys have grown.in something tangible, not on Facebook or online.so I committed to doing the December Daily for our second December together. As last year's December was a bit more "exciting" than anticipated with Alexander's early arrival.I was excited to refocus and spend a few minutes each day documenting what is happening. AND I LOVE IT. Find more advent daily.

The Sprouffskes • Life on the Farm: Seven Quick Takes: The Alexander Edition
http://blog.thesprouffskes.com/2013/08/seven-quick-takes-alexander-edition.html
Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Seven Quick Takes: The Alexander Edition. In no particular order. Alexander is eight months old now. His hair is fine and blonde.and gets curly on occasion. When that happens, I hold him up like the "Lion King" and let him know that he's definitely my son. He's 13 pounds - still on the "little peanut" side, but a crazy big eater like his older brothers. He sleeps through the night better than his older brothers. They are all sleeping in the same room. We found amazing sleep again.

The Sprouffskes • Life on the Farm: the fourth of july
http://blog.thesprouffskes.com/2007/07/fourth-of-july.html
Thursday, July 5, 2007. The fourth of july. The fourth of july at ft. lewis. an annual tradition (i think we're on the 9th year in a row).with mike and the plu football team crew lighting the sky for the freedom fest. i love being out here on post for independence day - the crowd was thinner this year due to deployments, but it was so worth it to be there. Each year, they hand out sweet 3-d glasses, which stella is modeling above (complete with her trademarked 'warm and welcoming smile'. :). A glimpse in...

The Sprouffskes • Life on the Farm: 25 days of christmas | day seven
http://blog.thesprouffskes.com/2007/12/25-days-of-christmas-day-seven.html
Friday, December 7, 2007. 25 days of christmas day seven. The infamous christmas letters. i've been meaning to blog these for a while, but had to get them all pdf'ed and ready to go. (for those of you who know how detailed oriented i am, know that the funky formatting on each letter was designed around the particular christmas paper chosen each year. i seriously did not want to take the time to reformat it. it's called. Which, well, we are. In case you want to catch up on the world of our fam, long befor...
