DANNY AND THE MADDOG. Thursday, April 16, 2009. Danny asks for "Rocky Dance" whenever he sees an ipod. Maddie loves to be part of the action, and Daniel will come and ask her to,"Rocky dance". How appropriate that Maddie talks about flying, since the actual title to the famous song is "Gonna Fly Now". The family enjoyed a sunny Saturday and joined my Aunt and Uncle on a tour of their property. Danny took an up close look at their future driveway, but recovered faster than the adults around him!

Thursday, September 24, 2009. Cruz is FINALLY saying Mama! He started saying it yesterday when he was downstairs with Dada and I was upstairs getting ready for the day. Then he said it again when he was out in the backyard and I came inside for a second to get something. He said it a few other times today - all when he couldn't see me but was in ear shot of me. Understand the signs: Book, Ball, Balloon, Please. This past week started signing the clean up song from his Kindermusik class and started saying, "Da! In the morning when he wakes up. Today started signing: Monkey, Horse, Cow. Loves the song Skinnamarink and will sign, "I" and "love" when Mama sings it to him!
