New life in France. Monday, 18 March 2013. Crumpets and Hot Cross Buns. I am not going to mention the horrid spring weather.cold, none stop rain and wind I am just typing it in as a note :(. Bob brought some more crumpets and malt loaf home which we devoured over the weekend along with hot cross buns that my neighbours purchased from the Iceland shop on a campsite somewhere in the Charente, can you believe it! For the last 10 days the weather at long last has turned into high summer and what a difference the heat has made, my roses and petunias have looked so limp and sad with not many blooms now they are romping away as is the grass. New life in France. Thursday, 3 March 2016. February through to March. Well what can one say about February it's a grim month and seems to drag its heels I just want spring to arrive. We waited for the grues to make an appearance they lift the spirits and are such a spectacular sight I feel very lucky that we are on their flight path, apart from grey skies wind rain and cold that about sums up February not just 2015 it's been the same this year also 😕.
