Our corner of the world may not be much, but it's ours! Sunday, December 13, 2009. When I blog I really blog! So I ran a 5K in October and loved every minute of it! Now I'm addicted to running! I've been running about 20 miles a week since then. And I'm going to run a 10 k in June and a half Marathon next October. For someone who has NEVER enjoyed running this is a BIG deal. I actually really enjoy it. And a great benefit is I've lost 12 pounds since the beginning. Now I'm going to be teaching a triathlon.

Just an update to let everyone know that I have made a resolution to make the Blog a higher priority. :). Tyson is still working for Greenspun Interactive and still enjoying being able to walk to work. Ty is also looking into getting his Masters in Geography soon. :). Then just 2 more or less then 2 years till I get my bachelors in art education. So close!

I went Christmas shopping the other day and got this really cool book with pictures of places around the world in it. I was showing the kids all the places they've been to and I showed a picture of the Eiffel Tower to Addi and asked if she remembered what it was called. She said with confidence, " Mm hm. (they had already given addi her valentines present earlier.) i haven't seen daylen so happy about anything for years! He was so stoked! Friday, May 8, 2015. We Bought a Zoo. Errrrvisited one for the day. We love to go to the St. Louis zoo because it's free! And a really cool zoo also. Brady's favorite part? The hippo pooping in the water. It's always fun to do little family outings like this. Next time we go, the polar bear will be there! We were about a month too early for that. I took them hiking where i had hidden clues all over, and they followed the clues and their treasure maps to find the treasure. oh, and they also had to use a metal detector at the end! It worked perfectly. then they dug up chests of gold coins, 100$ each in gold dollar coins. i think it will be something they'll never forget. (:.
