Thursday, December 31, 2009. December / Christmas 2009. It's been a busy month, but also relaxing since we decided to stay home for once the Christmas holiday instead of traveling as usual. We were fortunate to have Andrew, Leah and Taya come spend the week of christmas with us.we had a blast! Andiee was excited to sit on Santa's lap at her "playgroup" Christmas party. Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Another trip - Arizona. So, this weekend, we took a long weekend (Fri - Mon) and drove down to Mike and Lisa's in Flagstaff, Arizona.Papa and Grandma Knopp also drove down to our house and then drove down there with us. Sunday, February 14, 2010. Valentines Party and Skiing! Andiee has been so excited for valentines day this year.when ever she sees a heart, its always a "Valentines" heart and if she sees the letter "V", she says "V is for Valentines day"! We took Andiee skiing for the first time at Wolf Mountain. I thought she would only last a 1/2 hour, but she loved it so much, we were up there for 3 hours! February 24, 2010. Hopefully no one has forgotten about us. It seems we've been so busy but when I think back on what.I draw a blank. It's amazing how fast life goes. Aiden is doing great and getting so big. He's started learning his ABC's, colors, and shapes. He's such a fast learner. He continues to amaze us. He loves going to Nana's everyday with his friends. Monday, October 12, 2009. This was very very good! Nice sweetness to the meat without much work at all. Too bad I overcooked the pork. If you have a thermometer be sure to use it and take the meat to 160 (not 180 like I did). This would be really good on pork tenderloin too. 4 (1/2 inch) pork chops. 1 ( 8 ounce) can pineapple slices. 2 tablespoon brown sugar. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350° F. Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer, sauce over chops occasionally.
