lanlettie: January 2014

Monday, January 27, 2014. Super fast, super healthy cookies for a crazy woman. The always cheerful and weirdly calm little fifties housewife alter ego in me says, with a sparkling smile:. If you don't buy crap, you won't eat crap". Some kind of healthy resolution I no doubtly picked up from hours on Pinterest. What a stupid saying I thought as I stare blankly at the bag of spinach, farm fresh eggs and slow cooker chicken left overs. There are only two options:. You can bake something. E' saved the day.

Friday, September 19, 2014. The Oregon Coast and what feels like home. Living so far away from home is still something I learn to deal with. It's easier, much much easier than it's been, but still. The last two years I've learned a few things that help with homesickness. (If you're a South African wondering if you're home sick you should read this. I could for a moment imagine I'm on the beach with my sister, walking along the Jeffery's Bay. Links to this post. Thursday, September 11, 2014. 8220;Mountain...

lanlettie: Something something New Year Something
http://lanlettie.blogspot.com/2015/01/something-something-new-year-something.html
Thursday, January 1, 2015. Something something New Year Something. The day was further spent reading books and articles, talking budget, travel plans and healthy eating ideals. No hard or fast resolutions just letting the priorities become clear again. And the priorities are (and have clearly not been the last few weeks): Time spent being completely filled with God. Because out of that do I move into being the best wife I can be, then friend I can be, then employee I can be. January 2, 2015 at 12:27 AM.

Hi Hi Hi | Hanoi Eats Sarah

The life of a Texan living in Hanoi. Laquo; Letting go of Hanoi. September 30, 2014 by sarahkaraok. It’s time that I started writing again. My fingers are well oiled and ready for flexing and tapping. But now that I’m in the US, I need a non-Vietnamese themed blog. Guess what, WordPress is letting me have one! It’s called Belly Flop. I’m going to miss this blog. Or wish it banished from the internet. One of the two. Let’s hope for the first. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Hardwood floors, cherry trees. Front porch, plum trees. Dying grass and a dishwasher. Clothes that may be forgotten in the dryer. No down stairs neighbors to consider when walking in heals. Separate closets. Mirrors for days. Dog toys and bones strewn about and the kids next door dressed in ninja costumes. Chalkboard black kitchen walls painted and trips to home depot. Farmers market and Summer night outdoor movies. The happiest yellow front door on the street and a double sink.

Thursday, March 27, 2014. I'm still here, hanging out in South Africa. My hot wedding date. I know you've been thinking "Lanette were you eaten by a lion or something, why haven't you blogged your little African longing heart out since getting back to the homeland? I have no good excuses, besides, I always think it's a little strange when bloggers apologize for not blogging for a while, but that's just me being a weirdo. Just wanted to share a few photos from the first days back in Jo'burg (only about 6%...
