Saturday, November 20, 2010. I have been having lots of fun lately stretching my photography muscle without the pressure of charging and being able to take on projects at my discretion. I enjoy photography so much more as a hobby than as a job. Lately, I have been doing photo shoots for friends that wouldn't be able to get personalized and good photos otherwise. Their class parties at school were that morning, so they were even allowed to wear their costumes to school. Parker at his class party. Sadie at her class party. After finding his classroom and meeting his teacher, he is now ready for classes to start. Yesterday was also Andrew's birthday! We spent the evening celebrating by eating at his favorite, On the Border. And opening some cards and presents. Happy birthday, Daddy! We spent some time around the hatchery. My parents recently came for a visit and in addition to celebrating Parker's birthday together, we also did some other "special things", as the kids say. We had never been to The North Pole, a local Christmas-themed amusement park, so we took advantage of the unusually mild weather we've been having lately and set out for a fun-filled day.
