Nothing motivates you at 5 am quite like two Blake Griffin dunks over a helpless Pau Gasol. On Wednesday night, Pau Gasol was targeted twice in the battle of Los Angeles. The Lakers won the game, in large part due to 67 combined points from Andrew Bynum and Kobe Bryant, but Griffin and the Clippers won the highlight contest. Neither is surprising. In a brilliantly calculated move, Disney has purchased Marvel Entertainment for a cool 4 billion. This means that all those superheroes- Spiderman, Incredible Hulk- are now part of the Disney family. The ways they can use them are limitless! It's particularly exciting for the Pixar Studios extension of Disney as they can create so many cool films with this new plethora of awesome characters.

Wednesday, June 26, 2013. The Morning Caffeine Commute. Today, I've opted for the bare-bones black coffee express without all the annoying fillers and distractions so early in the morning. My research has shown that unneeded additives, such as cream, sugar, and, especially, whipped cream or, god forbid, cinnamon can skew, negatively, with the intended low-orbit outcome - not that I have anything against skewing.
