Raising Them Up: March 2012
http://raisingthemup.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Shortly after writing my last blog entry about clearing my schedule and downsizing my commitments, I made a big decision. It didn't come without a lot of thought and input from those that I respect, but mostly, it came straight from my heart. I have decided to put starting my photography business on hold. This was hard because I love photography with so much in me. I crave it. Sometime I even think. In pictures. As in, I think."how can I capture this moment? Of what I want.

Raising Them Up: July 2011
http://raisingthemup.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. First this. Then this. First, this happened. A MOUSE ate a hole through D's car seat cover when I had it in the garage for about a week. I discovered this as I went to reinstall it in the van. So, needless to say, after freaking out about the grossness of a mouse being in my garage - and in D's seat (ewww.) - I realized I'd need to play the "car seat shuffle" once again. I have a total of 6 seats. Two for each child. And just for fun :-). Is he your first? He may be my third, but h...

Raising Them Up: December 2011
http://raisingthemup.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 13, 2011. It may seem rather silly to many of you, but others of you will 100% know what I mean when I say that packing up baby things after they have been used for the last time can be pretty tough on mommy. But today marks a special last for me. Maybe goofy for you. But special to me. Today N wore one of my very favorite outfits for the very last time. Nearly three years ago, I bought this outfit for D. And it quickly became my favorite. And wear it he has! To capture this last. Monda...

Raising Them Up: Trimming the fat
http://raisingthemup.blogspot.com/2012/02/trimming-fat_26.html
Sunday, February 26, 2012. Its been a month since I've been here. And its been about that long since I have even read any blogs. Sorry, blogging friends :-(. I will now tell you why. I am trimming the fat. Not just the fat on my body, haha - but all the fat in my life. And blogging is.well, fat. At least in my life, its fat. The reasoning doesn't matter to me as much as the result. Less filler and fluff in my life = More quality time with my family. And its not just about the kids. My new business is her...

Raising Them Up: November 2011
http://raisingthemup.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 25, 2011. So today I realized that I don't want my kids to grow up anytime soon. I would like to freeze them just as they are.tantrums, tears, drama, and all. I know I think. That quite a bit, but today it hit home harder than usual. The mommy in me wanted to break up this spat (which didn't get physical) and send the kids playing and sharing happily and peacefully. But no, these weren't my kids. They weren't even being supervised by any adult. These kids were on their own. After a littl...

Raising Them Up: September 2011
http://raisingthemup.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 30, 2011. Now that C is in school ALL THE TIME (insert my own little *pout* right here), D and I are looking for ways to fill our days. Yesterday we went on a bike ride - well I pushed the baby in the stroller - to our neighborhood center and back. He did amazingly well considering that he isn't even 3 years old yet! Here is our journey. We went through a construction zone. And we went on the walking path along side the street and the woods. He only crashed once. Kisses for Daddy :-).
