Bemboka Cricket club: July 2007
http://bembokacc.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Friday, 27 July 2007. Season approaches for the BCC! Yeah, they're good, but no match for Bemboka B Grade this year. As the 07/08 season approaches, Bemboka have entered B and C grade teams to contest the FSCCA cricket competitions. B grade looks promising, with old legends returning, current legends strapping on the plastic and young fellas alike being the catalyst for what should be a great season for the club. Bemboka Cricket club: We do it again and make the finals!
http://bembokacc.blogspot.com/2009/03/we-do-it-again-and-make-finals.html
Monday, 9 March 2009. We do it again and make the finals! Above).Woolley Mick said he had a great time in Sydney on the weekend, even if he had to lie to his teammates about being at the Congo. The boys went into the game v Bega on the weekend knowing a win would all but assure us of some post season action. As it was we did it in a canter, but with a few unexpected twists and turns! Then we had Motty bowling another inspired spell, but with the wickets added in this week! He got another stump and had th...

Bemboka Cricket club: November 2008
http://bembokacc.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, 29 November 2008. Parker set to Dump Bemboka B Grade to C grade! The reality of another shite batting performance hit home hard. Boys came out firing with two men in close till Bretto done a heart muscle after almost having his leg broken by a middled drive that struck his knee cap. Real men cry too Bretto. Real men also drive manual cars too, but we'll leave that alone Bretto:). Watch this space. Tathra to be our first victims at home next week. I can smell their fear from here. A knee jerk re...

Bemboka Cricket club: December 2008
http://bembokacc.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 6 December 2008. Read Dave Allen where it says Shane Warne. Bemboka B grade returned to winning ways on Saturday after a solid performance with the bat and ball. Tathra were admittedly a little underdone admittedly, but the Bemboka boys did not dissapoint the throngs who had come to watch the match. Then came the tweakers. Jimmy, Dave and Dunko alll used to good effect today. And Davo just topped up his great knock with a five(5) wicket haul. One tweaker was quoted as saying that he...Al provid...

Bemboka Cricket club: January 2009
http://bembokacc.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, 23 January 2009. Joah Bartlett nailed the headline on the back of the BDN. Christmas came a few weeks late for Jimmy Glen on the weekend. A superb unbeaten ton, not seen since the likes of the great man McLoskey at Kammy this year won the game for the boys in the run chase. After a post match conversation with Mick Wooley who told him the day he hit his forst ton was when the lovely Kylie said- 'hit 50 today and I'll give you a BJ', jimmy was left wishing he'd had the same inspiration. Alas, ...

Bemboka Cricket club: Grand Final day! ver1.0
http://bembokacc.blogspot.com/2009/03/grand-final-day-ver10.html
Monday, 30 March 2009. Hard to get everyone with their finger up at the same time. Woolley claimed this was no 'white power' salute. He also claimed he was just trying to help when he groped Dunko upside down. There were reports of this man throwing darts at the Ray Inskip Memorial Shield. Which this bloke found quite amusing. But not as amusing as when this bloke showed up at the celebrations. Maz came in to steady the ship and got a nice yorker chucked down at him by SoChucky. Dangerman out too. A grea...

Bemboka Cricket club: August 2008
http://bembokacc.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, 17 August 2008. The BSFC bus rolls into town! Above) Maz said the seventies never really ended for him. The season started in earnest today whe Maz and Dunko bought the B grade team bus back into town after picking it up in Woodstock (also known as Candelo). With a quick clean up, a blueslip and a bit more gas, Maz was confident that the target of 1000 beers consumed on all combined round trips this season could be achieved. Straws would be drawn for designated driver. God help them.
