Wednesday, October 31, 2012. So Aaron was out of town for interviews for both the church Halloween party and on Halloween day, but I did get to dress up without him. I went as a witch to our church party (no pictures? And I went as a cowgirl to work on Halloween. Fun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Aaron's a dental student; Lauren's a registered dietitian. We live in RVA and we love life and each other. Three of a Kind. Lovin' the Empty Nest. Live like there's no tomorrow. A Hint of Honey.

http://aaronandlaurenlaird.blogspot.com/2012/08/colby-and-talyns-wedding.html
Monday, August 13, 2012. Colby and Talyn's Wedding. The week of Colby and Talyn's wedding started with me hanging out in Saratoga Springs with Nate and Lacey. I had a lot of fun chilling with Lacey and my nieces all day! We went to Brave on Monday and we were the only ones in the theater. It was also Delaney's first ever movie theater movie! Madison was a doll to be around and it was so fun to cuddle with sweet Halle. Thursday was rehearsal dinner day! Friday was wedding day! Aaron's a dental student; La...

Aaron & Lauren: November 2012
http://aaronandlaurenlaird.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2012. This year, it was time for a Crabtree Thanksgiving. Since leaving VA in the future was on the horizon, everyone opted to come here for the holiday. My grandpa and uncle live in MD so we decided to spend Thanksgiving Day with them also. Grandpa doesn't like to keep the heat on very long at his house - so mom made sure we had Ugg slippers to keep us warm. The glorious Polyface turkey. Sunday morning was probably was I was looking forward to the most - Sunday Brunch at the Jeffer...

Aaron & Lauren: The New Car
http://aaronandlaurenlaird.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-new-car.html
Tuesday, May 1, 2012. At this point, Aaron had just been called as the Young Men's President in our branch and was about to start rotations all of the state in May so the need for a second car was becoming much more present. Though he probably doesn't read this blog, huge props to Uncle Mike who scored us an even more incredible deal than what we had bargained for. Additionally, of course, even more props to my parents. Who made this whole second car business possible. Ryan and Lisa Applonie. Dane Jessic...

Aaron & Lauren: Soon-to-be-Sooners
http://aaronandlaurenlaird.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-news-youve-all-been-waiting-for.html
Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Aaron spent October 17 - November 9 traveling around the country for interviews for orthodontic programs. He sent out his applications in August/September and the interview invitations started rolling in. He received 9 invitations but was only able to attend 6 interviews as four were scheduled for the same day! November 29th was match day. The results weren't supposed to be released until noon, but they sent out an email early. Aaron was on a rotation in rural Virgin...I ope...

Aaron & Lauren: December 2012
http://aaronandlaurenlaird.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 19, 2012. I've been terrible at consistently blogging this year, but I finally got it all done and I've dated the posts by when they actually happened, not when I wrote them. So here's our year in review in case you missed it. After finishing my dietetic internship. With my girlfriends from my internship and Philly. Three separate times - twice for art exhibits and once for a dietetics conference. To the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center program - his second choice! Aaron s...

Aaron & Lauren: New York with my Interns
http://aaronandlaurenlaird.blogspot.com/2012/11/new-york-with-my-interns.html
Tuesday, March 27, 2012. New York with my Interns. You may remember my fabulous internship ladies here. Anne, Amanda, Liz, Joey, Sarah, and myself. We completed our dietetic internship together. I've often said the one reason I had to wait so long to get into an internship was because of these ladies - we were seriously meant to be together. Never before have I so quickly and easily gelled with a group of girls. We hit some traffic of course along the way and we made it to New Jersey by 8. We met Sar...

Aaron & Lauren: August 2012
http://aaronandlaurenlaird.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Apparently, I really like Philadelphia. About an extremely wealthy family who was trying to duplicate Versailles for their home in Florida, when the economy tanked and they had to stop. Saturday, August 18, 2012. We've been married for four years. I feel like maybe we're not old enough to be married for four years? We celebrated by eating at Julep's in downtown Richmond. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile so I'm glad we got to go! Monday, August 13, 2012. On Tue...

Aaron & Lauren: RIP Grandma Laird
http://aaronandlaurenlaird.blogspot.com/2012/10/rip-grandma-laird.html
Wednesday, October 24, 2012. We had a lovely day celebrating her life and her funeral was sweet. Each grandchild got to share what Grandma meant to them and all of us sang a primary song together. We then went to the graveside and shared a few moments there. That night we had fun with Aaron's parents and siblings and family and we went to Cornbelly's for some fun.
