Sunday, December 30, 2012. Today at church during combined Relief Society and Priesthood we Watched a talk by Brad Wilcox called "His Grace is Sufficient" It is a great talk and I also think the perfect time to listen to it as we think about changes we want to make for the new year. I know the video is a bit long but I promise it will be worth your time. (His talk starts at 1:45). You can find the full printed text here. Posted by Skye L. Saturday, December 29, 2012. So, in honor of Nate turning thirty, I've decided to list thirty things I like about Nate:. 1 He helps me take care of the kids. 2 He's good with the kids and they're still alive and {pretty} healthy when I return. 3 He {and about 200 other people including me} thinks ping pong is a serious sport. 5 He loves cookies and ice cream. 25 He thinks I'm a...

Stories from beyond the crib. Including but not limited to: Jordan, Tabby, Lily and baby Lucy. Monday, June 30, 2014. I wasn't very good about recording the little details about my pregnancy with baby girl #3 - so here are some things about these past nine months that I don't want to forget:. He was so happy. I was stoked when I found out we were having another girl. Where Lily and Lucy measured big the entire second and third trimester, this baby girl measured spot on the entire time. With Lily and Lucy...

Sunday, September 30, 2012. Bracken told Hayes and Kamri they could make cookies by themselves. So they did. (minus putting them in the oven). There is no flour all over the counter. The cookies turned out good, we all enjoyed them. My blog decided it's over it's photo limit (who knew? So I'll figure that out tomorrow and hopefully post them. Posted by Skye L. Longhurst® Since 2005: August 2012
http://skye-l.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2012. I love these kids. I love that Hayes asked to cuddle with me tonight. I love that Kamri wanted to have her friend play at our house because she "wanted to play with my friend but be with my mom, too". I love that Lyla comes up and grabs my leg every once in awhile with a smile, just to make sure I'm there. I love watching my kids grow more independent, but it's also nice to know I'm there taking care of them for a reason. Sometimes they just need their mom. Posted by Skye L.

Longhurst® Since 2005: 2014
http://skye-l.blogspot.com/2014/01/2014.html
Wednesday, January 1, 2014. I'm back on the blogging wagon. Since I only posted once last year I am confident I will post more this year but I am not ambitious enough for everyday. This year I want to focus on being grateful, hopeful and joyful. These attributes radiate from the people I want to emulate. Hopefully recording some of my thoughts, feelings, and experiences this year will help me focus. Sun so we headed down to St. George. . Posted by Skye L. Sounds like a perfect day! Have a great week!

Longhurst® Since 2005: January 2013
http://skye-l.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 25, 2013. With Hayes at school all day and Kamri not having preschool for a few weeks after we moved, Kamri and Lyla have had a lot of time to spend together and have become such good friends. Lyla was sick a few weeks ago and we had to take her to the doctor. She had to get a steroid shot to help her croup and Kamri was so worried about her crying. She hid in the corner and covered her ears. It was almost like Lyla knew because she didn't even cry from the shot. Posted by Skye L. He star...
