Thursday, August 29, 2013. 8 months and a week at the beach. Noah was at the perfect age for the trip because he can sit up and play but isn't crawling (yet), so when we stuck him on his beach blanket he didn't go anywhere. He was rather indifferent to the ocean but liked jumping up over the waves and eating sand. Highlights of the last few weeks:. Playing at the beach with Mads and Henry. Getting a 2nd tooth. Eating real food (namely ice cream). Learning to say "dada". Moving up a class in Play 2 Grow.

Saturday, April 13, 2013. Too cool for school. School is officially out for. In addition to meeting his nanny, Noah got to meet Uncle Jake's girlfriend, Jocelin. He loved having them visit and showing them around the city. We were total tourists for the weekend - we covered CNN, the aquarium, the zoo and world of coke (yep, city passes! Highlights of the past few weeks:. Seeing Grandma Bea, Grandpa Art, Jake and Jocelin. Starting with the nanny. And of course, more pictures:. Zeebees in the background!

Margot at nine months is crawling and pulling up like a champ, and is starting to cruise and stand briefly on her own. She also loves to "dance" on command, which is swaying her head and shoulders around and side to side like a hippie. She has two teeth, a tongue that's always out, and a lot of sass. Which now, thank goodness, we mean literally rather than euphemistically). Ford's nine month pictures are here.
