Ben, Joy, and Baby Sunshine. Sunday, May 10, 2009. We are so excited to announce the new addition to our family…welcome Sunshine Elizabeth! Our beautiful baby girl was born on Thursday, April 23rd at 1am (almost on earth day). She weighed exactly 7 pounds and was 19 inches long. She is so precious. This past Thursday was her 2 week check-up. She is a very healthy baby. She now weighs 8 pounds and is 21 inches tall. She is starting to get chubby cheeks and a double chin. She is so cute! Such a daddy's girl.

Ben, Joy, and Baby Sunshine. Monday, March 16, 2009. The shower was beautiful and everything was perfect. Thanks to everyone who helped put it all together and thanks for the great gifts too. It's crazy how many things a baby needs. I'm so excited to be having a girl; the clothes are just soooooo cute. The food was awesome too, I think I had 4 pieces of cake.but does that surprise anyone? My regular pants no longer fit, so I’m down to two pairs of awesome maternity pants. I don’t think I'm at the terribly uncomfortable stage yet, but I’m sure it will be here soon. Since we're planning on moving to California in June we decided to make things work in our little one-bedroom apartment. Do you like Ben's decorative touch? We think the hanging backpacks really add to the whole soft/neutral baby look. Does any one person need so many backpacks? I think not ;).
