Love and more love. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Besides the busy holidays, we haven't done much photo documenting, but here's one I got of Charlie. He's 13 months now, and although he's not walking, he is navigating everywhere. In fact, he prefers to be left to his own devices, doesn't like anyone in his face. Here's where we found him the other day, making the most of his time while I was getting the big kids out the door to the bus. Peg, he is seriously SO CUTE! February 10, 2010 at 8:59 AM.

Love and more love. Thursday, December 17, 2009. Exactly 1 year ago, I stewed over the fact that I hadn't felt any movement in my womb for 1 1/2 days. At around 4 in the afternoon, I told Ben we needed to see the doctor. He called for an emergency appointment, called for a cab and we left. At the dr's, she gave me an ultrasound and found everything to be normal. 'however', she said, 'sometimes the mother knows'. We are celebrating tonight! Cant believe its already been a year! OUR FAMILY - A window on our life. Monday, March 7, 2011. When I moved to Italy I was amazed by the huge variety of food they have here. I loved almost everything, but fennel was not on this list for a long time. Today however it is one of my favorite vegetables. I absolutely love it cooked with butter and salt, but this way of cooking it is truly amazing as well. 4 bigger fennel bulbs. Around 10-15 tablespoons of breadcrumbs. 1-2 cloves of garlic (depends on the taste). Small bunch of fresh parsley.
