Making decisions after I have prayed about them, masking lists, checking things off the list, moving forward in life in a relatively "controlled" manner. How often I so easily fall into this cycle. I thought I "learned" my lesson with that situation, but here I am again, realizing I am having to be reminded of it again. Why do I make it so hard? Why do I stress about these "temporal" things?

Monday, April 29, 2013. Yesterday's sermon is still rolling around in my brain. Comparison. How often do we find ourselves comparing? I don't know about you, but I do it often. I think it is a natural human response to life. Is it because we are a selfish race and naturally want to look out for "me? In other words, I think it's that sin nature we fight daily. Hourly. How often to I look at those around me thinking:. Why do they get to do that? Why did God bless them with that? Why aren't they "serving"?

Friday, October 15, 2010. Uncle Justin came to town for a few days and bought a child sized harness for the boys. They headed out to try out Jay's new rope and the new harness. They had a great time and I'm sure they can't wait to get out again. City of Trees Marathon. Jay's Birthday Camping Adventure. For Jay's birthday, he and I headed up to McCall to camp and enjoy some beautiful weather. Camping in October is usually out of the question, but we enjoyed something closer to early September weather.

Sunday, May 27, 2012. Class Campout for Nikolai and Jay. Nikolai’s class studied the Oregon Trail this year and celebrated with a campout in Oregon. Monday, April 30, 2012. Rooster Tail and a Big Bike Ride. We got sprayed by the water once we made it down, but it was such an amazing site and felt great after riding for ten miles on the blacktop.
