The Desires of my Heart...: January 2010
http://sharpsladybug.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 02, 2010. On her birthday, I will think of this woman. Her birth mother. As I know she will probably be thinking of Norah. The daughter she holds in her heart and will never again see. If I could tell her, I would tell her this:. She is the daughter that I always prayed for and how she made her way to our family is a miracle to me. I am so blessed just to know her and to be a part of her life. She is the apple of our eye and the song in our heart. Heaven is the face of a little girl.

Wednesday, January 29, 2014. 2 Years Ago.A Forever Family. I look at your beautiful picture and I think about that little girl who was terrified and withdrawn who cried for hours upon hours without ceasing. I remember that little girl who was traumatized and too scared to ever let anyone in. But you are learning to trust me, and slowly we have taken baby steps in loving one another. I pray that God will continue to heal our hearts. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Echoes of The Heart. A Journey Not My Own.

Wednesday, October 29, 2014. A journey in China through food. So, I have taken photos of most of our meals.cause I'm kinda a huge nerd. So here is what we have been eating while in China. We got into Guangzhou kinda late on Saturday night so our first meal was the breakfast buffet at the hotel. Pretty much watermelon, dragon fruit, coddled egg, cheese, pork dumpling, pineapple wrapped in ham. Then for lunch we found what we later found out was a Cantonese restaurant, where the menu is basically fish tanks.

Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Prayer, scripture and friends are what help me wade through all of this. It is such a blessing to have others who have been, or are going through this process to support us! Their perspective helps me remember that, yes, families really do make it through this process, which is truly only the beginning of some beautiful stories. A completed home study also means we can begin applying for grants! Upcoming fundraisers to participate in/ be in prayer for:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sunday, July 27, 2014. LOA Wait Day 58. Until July rolled around I think I had been pretty chill about this whole adoption process. I was actually becoming a little concerned because I wasn’t responding with the same level of worry and emotion as the other adoptive moms in the plethora of new China adoption Facebook groups I have joined. Well faithful audience….I have arrived! I am now counting the days. FYI: That is when we can share pictures publicly! But it is also MAKING ME CRAZY! Fortunately, I was ...
