Friends have been incredibly generous since our house has been out of commission. Those moments when I reach my breaking point of trekking through dust, sleeping in the closet and general malaise, it seems someone senses it and invites us to a good time gathering. I'm getting ready to head to SLC for the visitation of Carmela Nielsen. In the years since I worked at the clinic whenever I would see her she would light-up. Is that not the most incredible feeling - when some is physically brightened by your presence? What a beautiful tribute to your mentor/friend. I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for introducing us to her, so that she can bless us through your memories. May God comfort you and her family. Tuesday, February 08, 2011 8:28:00 PM. I will miss her.

You should see and hear us on the phone sharing our shared experience, "OMG, I boiled water for pasta and it was incredible." "Get out, I made four quesadillas at once." Sung at Chase's fifth grade celebration, expresses everything: (oh, and I feel this way about both my children). Child of mine, you are the wildest wind and the dearest dream. I will ever know. Love's lasting light shines out from deep within this father's heart. As I watch you grow. Child of mine, you are the break of dawn and the brightest star. I will ever know. As I watch you grow. I will ever know.

We are here in the Land Down Under. The weather is dreamy in Cairns. We board a boat tomorrow to dive the Great Barrier Reef. We are blessed and spoiled. I jokingly told Darren as we ate freshly squeezed juice and freshly caught seafood that I was "so happy" that it doesn't take. For me to "be happy." We will see the Land of Wonder Land Down Under in 10 days. Spot On! I sat on the. Gorgeous. We forgot our camera and so Darren is off to buy one. Just close your eyes and imagine. Links to this post. The flooded house caused more damage than at first thought. and being an older home other problems were uncovered as we peeled away the layers of wet soggy home. We have been living in a hotel for a month now. The excitement is wearing off. Darren said to think of it as Eloise at the Plaza. Speaking about the best thing about living in a hotel:. I list the positives:. We are all safe and healthy. We don't have to sleep in the dust and chaos. The insurance pays for the accommodations. Room service is cool.

I taught interior materials at USU this semester and as the final project I had them create their own upholstered ottomans. 8-way hand tied springs, Turkish corners, staple guns, hog rings, etc. It was all possible because John at Rocky Comfort. Is patient and talented and hosted the workshop at his shop in Logan. (480 W. 1400 North #12). It took 3, 10 hour days to get the whole class through. Worth it. Yeah, my class is the coolest.
