Honest and True | beneaththepavingstones
https://beneaththepavingstones.wordpress.com/2011/12/23/honest-and-true
Opening the Heart of Jericho. DemO 2012 →. December 23, 2011 · 3:45 pm. Honest and True tales. Honest and True was an audio installation in the Jury Room at Oxford Town Hall. On Christmas Night Light. This is especially true for jurors – the amateur actors in the courtroom drama, prized for their ordinariness, non-professional, but hopefully never unprofessional. Any one of us can be a juror. For after all, what is justice but just us? For kit, many thanks to the lovely Duncan at Silentnoizevents.com.

Activist artists: your response is required by law. Honest and True →. September 29, 2011 · 7:03 pm. Opening the Heart of Jericho. Grantham House, Cranham Street, Jericho. The largest single creative project I’ve undertaken. It was all about community. Which has the same root (‘communis’) as the word ‘communicate’. And after all, what is community but the ever-renewing creation of our local world through the relationships we build and maintain with each other? A downloadable booklet is on its way…. Citiz...

About me – I Spy with My Inner Eye
https://ispywithmyinnereye.wordpress.com/about
I Spy with My Inner Eye. I like to observe. I like art; I have been known to make art. I deeply dislike the separation that still exists in many people’s minds between people and nature, I’m even a bit uncomfortable with talking about being connected ‘with’ nature (it implies that separation) – instead I think that we. I think a lot about disability – particularly when I am ill, but not exclusively – and the dis-abling of people by the non-disabled world. Contact me: uninvisible71 at gmail.com. A way to ...

I Spy with My Inner Eye. Up Close and Personal at Park Hill. February 7, 2015. March 6, 2015. The Park Hill flats. Sit atop Park Hill, the slope to the east of Sheffield Station. I’ve always thought of them as Sheffield’s Byker estate. Sheffield artist Mandy Payne has made some beautiful paintings of the Park Hill flats. Poetically painting with aerosol on concrete she presents them in a way that highlights the astonishing beauty of this hard architecture. A private girls school. Thanks for sharing your ...

Where is your Wildish Space? – I Spy with My Inner Eye
https://ispywithmyinnereye.wordpress.com/2015/08/02/wildish-space
I Spy with My Inner Eye. Where is your Wildish Space? August 2, 2015. August 3, 2015. I went to Pomona Island. Yesterday, a wildish space in the centre of Manchester squeezed between the old docks on the Manchester Ship Canal. And the sliver of the Bridgewater Canal. I first became curious about it in my second month in Manchester, when B joined me in exploring and orienting myself in my new home, and we walked along the canals to Salford Quays. Police our relationships with the place and each other.

I Spy with My Inner Eye. When the waiting ends. July 12, 2015. August 2, 2015. When the waiting ends. If you can really inhabit your bardo state – sit with the chaos, the uncertainty, the impatience that arise within it, and feel the spaciousness of it, you may find that at the end you emerge – it opens up – into a wild space, a place of almost infinite possibility where you will write new rules to live by. Things to go and see. A Sense of Place. How we make sense of where we are. What we carry with us.

Archie is a lengthsman and through his work maintaining verges and ditches he discovered that drain covers are often worth a second or third look – and he’s not the only one who thinks so. Http:/ thinkingcowgirl.wordpress.com. But I think once it’s stopped being sticky it’s not only not a bad thing, it has creative potential – realised sweetly by Paula Morison. Creative facilitation; Participation; Dialogue for transformation. About my dialogue work. September 18, 2015. Changing views: on being a service user. This week, for once, I was a service user. At a consultation event, an expert by experience. Rather than a facilitator or organiser. This is what it was like. We were briefed about the format of the morning session, and then filed into a big room to sit along a table in front of 3 rows of company sales reps. As nice as everyone was to me in terms of showi...

Resistance in the city. Saturday, June 13, 2009. I just saw that the World Health Organisation has raised the pandemic alert for swine flu to level six - that means its officially a pandeminc. I dont think the death toll from this pandemic will be alarming but the effect on the global economy almost certainly. The effect on international travel alone should give the economy another thumping at the time it can least afford it. I may post more about what I'm up to in future. Friday, March 20, 2009.
