Monday, November 10, 2014. The Very Best of Rex Rasmussen. So The first 3 months of Rex's life we took WAY too many pictures (as if that were possible). Here are some of the ones I loved and never want to forget. I call this frying pan face. It's that thing of where you look like someone hit you in the face with a frying pan, but really you just had a baby. I didn't care though because I was so deliriously happy. Happy daddy, sweet baby. Sunday, June 30, 2013. This past week we went on a trip to Southern California with my family to celebrate Court's graduation (pictured below). The first stop on our trip was Vegas. We decided to stay a night to break up the drive. Vegas is Vegas, but it was fun to look around. Somehow Court had never been there before! Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Rod Dog turns 30. On August 28th Rodney turned the big 3-0. Determined that his special birthday would not be overshadowed by the birth of our new baby, I decided to throw him a birthday fiesta. It was a lot of work, but sooo worth it. The evening was complete with friends, family, neighbors, tacos, salsa, a pinata, and cake. Taco meats for dayssss. Our friends be cray cray. He was really excited about the pinata. We partied hard . . . Thanks to everyone who came!

Wednesday, April 18, 2012. These next couple weeks are promising to be very full. Very full of things that only happen once in a person's life. Obviously, being extremely pregnant, we're expecting our new little bundle any minute. We also found out last night that Brad's grandma passed away. The week after next both my cousin and little sister are getting married. Brad and I keep looking at each other like, "what could happen next? We had cupcakes. They look pretty good right now. Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Yesterday Riley HAD to study for his finals, so I decided that I would stay out of his hair and not distract him. It was so nice outside so I decided to ride my bike to the Creamery to get milk. We buy three gallons for five dollars at the Creamery and we go through them like crazy. I think its because we eat so much cereal (cereal=cheap), or maybe its because my husband has a bottomless stomach. And the next millisecond I thought, No. Not worth it. Friday, February 24, 2012. Even though I loved our old house, we've moved to a new apartment. It has so many great things that we've never had! AKA a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, another bedroom, and its WAY bigger. Plus we get free rent, so why wouldn't we love living here? I never put up pictures of our old house, but it was just so cute- I had to take a few before we left. I'll put up pictures of our new house sometime. Also, we bought a new car. And the heater works in it. We're really moving up.
