Made the rookie mistake of letting her "hold" my camera. 90 images later I have plenty of pics of her eyeballs, thumbs, and nostrils. Turns out, she thought the lens was the viewfinder. Friday, August 7, 2009. Summer is almost over! I go back to work on the 20th. we've certainly had a jam packed summer with gym class, swim lessons, and lots of trips to the park with friends, family, and newly appointed babysitters! There's still A LOT of conversational babbling going on so we know she's gonna be a talker! Thursday, February 19, 2009. Chloe is still obsessed with dogs. see the "dog show" photo. she likes to point at mom and dad and airplanes in the sky. She's learning how to eat with a spoon and prefers to use mom's utensils rather than her own. i've been putting food in a baby food jar and that works ok for a little while until she decides to shove her hand inside. she's loves dad's chili and oranges are her newest fruit obsession. Sunday, September 6, 2009. Back to school already! So much has happened in the last month! Chloe has grown about an inch and is TALKING! It amazes me how many words she knows and constantly practices. my friend carrie told me once about how her son henry wakes up talking and i didn't believe her until now. chloe does the same thing! Bus and digger - current car obsession is seeing the city or school bus. we also saw a construction digger and now she associates them together. Meek - means music.

Thursday, October 29, 2009. This is my 100th blog posting, hurray! 2 of the Pumpkins. The last hayride to pumpkin town. Then, on Saturday, we had our annual pumpkin carving party. It was much smaller than in years past, mostly because we waited too long to put it together. Still, we had 8 or so people come over to mutilate some pumpkins and eat my homemade chili. Sunday, December 21, 2008. Snow Coverage and Soup. I just got done with work. On my day off. Thanks, snow! Because there's so much snow here, I had to take the bus to work. The schedules are off because it's so tough to drive. It took me nearly two hours to cover the 3 miles between my house and work. Normally it takes me ten minutes to drive it.
