Monday, May 28, 2007. Tours it sucks you missed #1. In 1999 Jimmy Eat World went on tour supported by Jets to Brazil and Pedro the Lion. All of the above are/were awesome parts of the 90s indie/emo scene. None of this eyeliner crap. Just sweet music. Here's a video of my favourite Jets to Brazil song, I Typed for Miles. When you plug "Jens Lekman" into it, guess who loves him most. Well, obviously, there's Sweden, where he's from, but after the top 5 being Swedish cities, you have New York. Fine. Yes, he really does. 30 El Diablos @ Rythm & Booze. November 18th, 2010. Ok, so here I sit. Waiting. Eagerly waiting. For doom. Rhythm & Booze in KC has a taco made with the ghost pepper from India called El Diablo. The owner, Rhythm, had the crazy idea to pose a challenge of eating 30 of the ocursed shell-wrapped fireballs in 30 minutes. Quite the interesting challenge. I’m banking on it. 30 minutes to go, the bourbon and diets are getting more tasty, this will be interesting. Posted in Wandering Chips.
