Shae and I (and Jody, to a certain degree) spent the last week of December on a stay-cation, home from work and daycare. We tried to do "one fun thing" every day of our vacation! On Christmas Eve we went to Gramma and Baba's house for dinner and presents. Shae wore the dress that Gramma made especially for her. Monday, September 26, 2011. We are all VERY excited that fall is here! Well, technically anyway - the leaves are changing colors, but the daytime temps are still very warm. Not complaining! Shae made "slippers" from sandwich bags. Brilliant! Sorry for the red eye. I've been downloading photos on my work computer and I don't seem to have the ability to adjust that. Ah well. Shae, Jody, Zoey and I went to Lair 'o the Bear to take advantage of those aforementioned warm daytime temps. Hiking is hard work!

Tuesday, July 26, 2011. One more (random): the many faces of Shae. Camping (in da mountains). Best thing to do after coming back into town from a vacation is to immediately turn around and go camping in the mountains! We decided to take advantage of the one-and-only weekend that Brian, Chris, Keeley and Taylor have until mid-November (seriously) to go camping in Dillon. Fueling up before hitting the road. Setting up camp - Shae is a tremendous "helper.". From sun up til sun down. Let's go for a hike!

First gift: a super-rad coloring board from Aunt Amy and Uncle Kyle that sings when you color on it - and sings faster and faster the faster you color! Friday, March 15, 2013. Shae has never been half-assed about her illnesses. Like so many other things in life, if you're going to do it then why not just go full-bore and REALLY do it - that's her motto, anyway. Daycare called Jody yesterday to come pick Shae up, as they suspected pink eye. His first inclination was to call me at work to ask what I thought; I kept my thoughts to myself, but told him to go pick her up.
