Monday, July 6, 2009. So this Friday is my 25th Birthday, an event I've been dreading for awhile. I know that turning 25 isn't that big of a deal, it just seems that time has flown by the past few years. I can clearly remember almost all of my birthdays, going back to age 5. I've always loved parties, especially themed parties. There has been a Rock n' Roll Party (age 9), Happy Face Party (age 12), Pirates and Ninjas (age 20), and of course many more. Monday, December 29, 2008. Why is my life getting in the way. UmmmChristmas was so awesome this year! I got tons of cool stuff and got to spend a lot of time with friends and family. I'm back at work today and dreaming of my present from Geoff:. I can't even tell you how long I've been lusting after this. I wish my Lawrence friends loved this as much as my Chicago friends. I have a tendency to start projects and then forget about them… I blame genetics. I believe that a pan of brownies says more then a sympathy card ever could. I also feel that if said brownies have imperfections they must go in the trash…. I still haven’t decided what I want to be when I grow up and I’m slowly realizing that that’s ok. I can’t work on anything if the kitchen is messy. I HATE to vaccuum. I live with the most understanding and patient man you could imagine. A quilt is nice. Life at 123 house.

Saturday, February 14, 2009. I will miss this kitchen. This past Monday, the remodel started on our kitchen. I will be tracking the progress on my blog, but here are a few pictures of what the kitchen looked like before demolition. I will really miss the yellow sink and countertops, but they are so damaged its not worth keeping them. As for the cabinets, they are mostly rusted-out and will also be replaced. I cannot wait to cook in the new kitchen! Aw, boo, you know I love the yellow walls!
