Pencil drawing has always been my first passion. Ever since I can remember, I was doodling on something. All I needed to keep myself occupied for hours was a few sheets of paper and a pencil or two. This was finished in 1992 It is a heritage drawing. I love these old black and white pictures. Another drawing completed on vellum. The shading was done with and EBONY pencil, and the color was applied on the reverse side, using colored pencils. I love this method. Black and white charcoal on brown paper.

I use premium 98 lb. drawing paper, and 6H-6B fine drawing pencils. It takes an average 6-8 hours for one drawing. Each drawing is sprayed with a gloss finish which seals the drawing and prevents smearing. Portrait drawing has always been my favorite pastime, and I would like to continue building my portfolio, by concentrating on what I love best. All drawings are 11" X 14". This is the first wall mural of 2014. This is the first mural of 2014. It was painted in February, in a bar in Lakewood, Oh. I used spray paint for the whole painting, including the cloudy background. The mural is very glossy, and I was concentrating on using a lot of sharp, vivid colors. Spray paint: my newest obsession. Creating spray paint art is like a complex dance. In the beginning it looks like a bunch of chaotic colors. But everything has an order, and if done properly, the finished result could be stunning. All portraits are painted with spray paint, using hand carved stencils.
