6th April, Capri/Anacapri. Sunrising on our hillside. Mount Vesuvius across the bay of Naples. Me, Ximena, and Fédé. Barbara and me. On forme. Definately. In case of ferry sinkage. A morning ferry ride over to the island of Capri. At the quai of Capri. Catherine and me on the quai. A quick boat tour around Capri to see the cliffs and caverns surrounded by cerulean waters! Clear as the Mediterranean! A cave with two openings through which the sun sets and glows bright green and gold! And a garden or 2.

I decided to try to make another food item. It is Thanksgiving after all. Fortunately, pumpkin pie is not common anywhere other than America. I stress always about cooking, and the pumpkin was big and too juicy and something about it wouldn't cook fast enough, but it turned out really quite good! My family asked for seconds! Carnavale de Binche (21 February). Mardi Gras if you will. Most people here celebrate the entire week. The Carnaval in Binche is one of the most famous in Belgium. We had a week of vacation, and all got dressed up in random costumes and went out to look at funny people throwing confetti!
