The Green Party will be publishing a list of empty properties in Barnet that could house thousands of families, before the General Election. The buildings could also be used as desperately-needed community facilities such as free meeting places, local libraries, local doctors surgeries, schools, youth centres, popular education, pop up shops, places of worship, changing facilities, public toilets and so much more. Like Christopher Columbus, Paul Nuttal MEP is a flat-earther, and it is deadly serious....

First 3 campaign events report. Stop TTIP and TISA - Green Party. Labels: the Green Party. Crowdfunder (like pledgebank, deposit bonds, or kickstarter). Jobs and the living wage. Don't trust MPs and PR men with ovary health! I was intrigued by this bizarre headline in the Sunday Telegraph. The first thing that occurred to me is wasn't Charles Saatchi photographed strangling his wife in a restaurant? Was this press release written when they were still an item? Or is this an other wife? On prostate cancer,...

On last night's TV, Nick Clegg fronts his one man campaign. I fear this latest message from the Lib Dems will be, how do you say in English, shooting themselves in the foot. First of all, they clearly haven't seen this broadcast from the Green Party, released just after the patronising and alienating "Debate on Europe". Secondly, claiming Europe is good for students because of ERASMUS. Hello? SMOG in London – Oh dear! The Council Must Capitalise on Green Space. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Hammersmith...

I was unable to attend Lolitics at the Black Heart, due to not having £3, which it costs to get in. In stead I took part in the Open Midrash Project at the Jewish community centre in Willesden Green "MoHoLo", where free food was provided, and food for thought. I went to the meeting of elections group in the evening. Good turnout and lots done. I went to the service at the Jewish Vegetarian Society. Great food. Took a shelfie in Sainsbury to ask Head and Shoulders to source sustainable palm oil. Europ...

The proposal fell far short of the mark. In my opinion the proposal of 2 women MPs is great for disability but is a bit overkill when you have friends like Alan who have a disability that also need to be elected. (Vote Alan for Equalities and Diversity Co-orinator, green friends). Anyway, this comment was found on the crowdfunder website:. 1 hour to go and 27 thousand pounds short. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Hebrew response to the Gaza War. This was a facebook status put through the miracle of Google Translate! Israel invades Gaza: Mixed response in Barnet and Camden. I do not know how much you know about Ga...

My TV audience appearance. I was on channel 5. More on this topic in April, I promise. Also, I was re-tweeted by my friends in Hamburg, Gruene Yugend. They are visiting in April. I am going to have coffee with an other campaigner, Carlos, to plan a public event on immigration. Possibly involving UKIP (pictured top left with the face cut off). New video via Rosemary-Anne Warrington: Who is dependant on welfare? Production. (join the conversation on twitter). Large university lecture hall for social change.

Colindale: A long Walk to Freedom. Colindale, like the Republic of South Africa, is not yet free! I've been reading Long Walk to Freedom by Nelson Mandela, and The Freedom Charter. Though I haven't seen any recent evidence of racism, yet,. Colindale suffers from 3 policies reminiscent from Apartheid South Africa. Housing: Many black areas of central or outer Cape-town and Joburg were destroyed because of white jealousy. The same is feared now with the re-generation, and the same tactics are being used.

Murdoch and our newspapers. Meeting with National Union of Teachers Barnet Association last night. Being heard is a right. Jobs and the living wage. Policies for a sustainable society. Meeting with London Jewish Forum last night. Barnet Green Party, with over 300 members, can be trusted to represent you, based on ten core principles that define Green politics. Here is the Green vision in terms readers "not interested in politics" can understand. Being heard is a right. Care for the elderly. I have found ...

I oppose Brent Cross expansion. Though local candidate Adele Ward for Finchley and Golders Green is positive about the living bridge architecture. Here is what I have to say in a forthcoming press article. The high-rise, luxury blocks of flats in the latest plan provide none of the genuinely affordable, secure, and zero-carbon homes for people.". Judy Klitsner - a great thinker and teacher - visiting from Israel. The UK Government passed the Equality Act over 5 years ago. I seriously doubt whether so...
