The life in a day of our first bride to 'be'. My mother and I are making long strings of bunting to decorate the outside of the venue for the wedding. I like piecing together the coloured flags (that took me hours to cut! To the bias binding and then watching as my mom stitches them together in minutes. I once saw a picture of a bride silhouetted in a doorway, her long veil trailing behind and it was love at first sight. The second thing I was absolutely sure about was that I did not want to cover my face with my veil when walking down the aisle why would I want to squint through a cover at my groom? Or so I thought. What is Seoul like? Seoul from across the Hanriver, near Ttukseom station. It’s a concrete megalith that doesn’t really need natural light because flashing neon signs keep the city lit long after the sun has set.
