Monday, July 30, 2012. This house has felt like home from day 1. The kids call it our "new blue house." Cam and I are very pleased with how everything turned out. We love the blue! The trim looks a little cream in this pic, but it's all white.) These are mostly cell phone pictures, but you'll get the idea. There were several things that we wanted in our house but weren't willing to pay the upgrades on, so we had a lot of work to do. Well, I should say that Cam had a lot of work to do! And best of all?

Sunday, August 5, 2012. We had another wonderful vacation with my family this year. We went back to Lake Tahoe and it did not disappoint! Here are some of the highlights from our trip:. We had fun visiting the town of Trukee and let the kids pick out a toy at a quaint toy store. And played in the sand! My Uncle rented a boat and we all took turns tubing and wakboarding. Grandma and Papa wanted to prove that they were still young. What good sports! We loved being on this beautiful lake! I love my family!

And I hated the moment that another hiker warned us of the rattle snake ahead on the trail. But thankfully we never saw the rattler although we saw about 1000 newts! Sunday, March 24, 2013. We love birthdays around here, so we were very excited when Kennady's 3rd birthday rolled around. My parents came down and we went to lunch, opened presents, and had cupcakes that I made her. She was thrilled! After Cam got home from work, we went down to Salt Lake and ate pizza (Kenna's favorite) and let her pick out an animal at Build A Bear. Overall I would say it was a very successful birthday! Monday, December 31, 2012. It was another busy, fun Christmas for us! It is so fun to watch them play together and build relationships. We went home that night, as Santa was coming to our new house for the first time and wanted to be there in the morning to see what he brought. We woke the kids up (crazy, I know! Kenna as an angel during our nativity reenactment. Kenna got a doll house from Santa! Parker just chilled out and was a happy camper. Hudson got super heros! Excited about dress up! Cam surprise...

Sunday, April 15, 2012. We had a super busy, fun, family filled Easter this year. We spent conference Sunday at my parent's house and did our Easter celebration with everyone then. My mom worked so hard to make all of the kids matching skirts and ties. They turned out great! The Shirley grandchildren in their matching outfits. My mom broke out a bunch of old hats she has. Everyone had fun trying them on. Grandma and Grandpa with Addie, Kenna, and Drew. This was the best I could get after church.
